What can this tool do?

  • Use this tool to convert delimited data to another delimited format.
  • You can convert to and from Excel, pipe delimited, colon or semi-colon delimited, comma delimited, tab delimited, or choose a custom delimiter. Common usage is to convert CSV to TSV or rearrange column order.

What are my options?

  • You can change the quoting character to apostophe for input and output.
  • You may choose a new output delimiter.
  • It will force Excel to treat fields as text if requested.
  • Force double quotes or never use double quotes
  • You can to include/exclude rows by using our query option.
  • Sort CSV data in ascending or descending order before converting.
  • It will add missing headers if you like.
  • Optionally output empty field for NULL field value
